The employer is seeking a creative and skilled Sweets Chef or Pastry Chef.
The role focuses on preparing desserts, pastries, and baked goods while maintaining quality and presentation standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and present desserts, cakes, pastries, and sweets.
- Develop new dessert menus and seasonal items.
- Maintain consistency in taste, quality, and presentation.
- Monitor stock levels and manage ingredient ordering.
- Maintain kitchen cleanliness and hygiene standards.
- Follow food safety regulations and guidelines.
- Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Pastry Chef, Sweet Chef, or in a similar role.
- Knowledge of baking techniques, dessert preparation, and decoration.
- Creativity and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Good time management skills.
- Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
Preferred Qualifications
- Culinary or pastry certification is preferred.
- Experience in hotels, bakeries, or restaurants is preferred.
- Knowledge of international desserts and sweets is preferred.
Workplace
- Work location is in person.
- Candidates should be able to reliably commute to Dubai or plan to relocate before starting work.
Compensation
- Salary will be discussed in a face-to-face interview.
