Software Engineers conduct, plan, or oversee one or more aspects of the analysis, design, programming, debugging, and modification of computer programs for commercial or end user applications.

They write code, complete programming, and perform testing and debugging of applications.

Software Engineers may interface with users to define system requirements and/or necessary modifications or develop cost estimates, budgets, and schedules.
