Role Overview
Perform land and field surveys and geodetic calculations for project requirements.
Interface with clients and contractors and complete surveying work within schedule, man-hour, and cost budgets.
Responsibilities
- Check setting-out and levels.
- Check services locations and ensure their protection.
- Prepare sketches to support field work.
- Maintain field books, sketches, calculations, and other survey information.
- Measure work completed when required.
- Assist in preparing as-built drawings.
- Observe site safety procedures and participate in health and safety issues at site.
- Perform other associated responsibilities as appropriate.
Requirements
- Ability to perform land and field surveys and geodetic calculations.
- Ability to interface with clients and contractors to determine and verify project survey requirements.
- Ability to maintain field books, sketches, calculations, and other survey information.
- Ability to follow site safety procedures and participate in health and safety activities.
