Survey Project Manager

Engineering Enterprises, Inc. (EEI) is seeking an organized, detail-oriented, highly motivated Project Manager to work in its Surveying Group.

This position will include working on a wide range of survey projects, including boundary surveys, ALTA surveys, IDOT plat of highways, topographic surveying, and more.

The successful candidate must demonstrate strong communication, project collaboration, and teamwork.

• Leadership skills and team member oversight.
• Participate in business development with current and new clients.
• Develop accurate budgets and proposals.
• Direct and manage personnel assigned to the survey group.
• Track costs and upkeep project budgets.
• Managing multiple large projects at the same time.
• Plat creation, boundary calculations, and oversight.
• Research public records both online and at the recorder’s office.

• Be a licensed Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) with a minimum of ten (10) years of experience working as a land surveyor in the State of Illinois.
• Have a strong working knowledge of AutoCAD, MicroStation, and Trimble Business Center.
• Be able to operate Trimble robotic total station and Trimble GPS equipment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Have a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to multitask, adhere to timelines, and remain focused.
