Survey Project Manager

Overview

Your Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate offshore survey activities, ensuring efficient and compliant execution of all subsea operations.
• Plan, supervise, and oversee subsea survey operations (as-laid, as-built, ROV surveys, pipeline inspections).
• Define survey and positioning methodologies, including equipment and personnel requirements.
• Manage survey budgets, costs, and resources, including subcontractors and procurement.
• Coordinate both offshore and office-based teams for data processing, reporting, and quality control.
• Act as the main point of contact for clients on all survey-related topics.
• Review and approve survey procedures, mobilization plans, and calibration documentation.
• Monitor survey progress and performance, implementing corrective actions when needed.
• Ensure accurate and compliant deliverables, including final reports and survey databases.
• Maintain technical documentation and reporting throughout the project lifecycle.
• Promote and ensure strict compliance with HSE policies and safe working practices.
• Stay up to date with new survey technologies to enhance efficiency and data quality.

Your Profile

• Degree in Surveying, Geomatics, Marine Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong experience in offshore Oil & Gas subsea survey operations (pipeline, FPSO, subsea structures).
• Proven project management skills (planning, coordination, budgeting, subcontractor management).
• Solid experience with survey tools and software (ROV, GNSS, Total Station, AutoCAD, data processing tools).
• Strong background in survey data management, reporting, and quality control.
• Experience with tendering processes, cost estimation, and scope definition.
• Good knowledge of HSE standards and quality systems (ISO 9001).
• Strong leadership, communication, and coordination skills across multidisciplinary teams.
