Role Overview
AECOM is seeking a detail-oriented Survey Engineer for land and construction surveying work in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
The role collects accurate field data and produces survey documentation that meets project and industry requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct field surveys using total stations, GPS receivers, theodolites, laser levels, and related instruments.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret data to produce site maps, survey plans, technical drawings, and reports.
- Use AutoCAD and Civil 3D to create and update survey documentation.
- Coordinate survey requirements with project and construction teams.
- Perform data quality checks and maintain field notes, survey records, and project documentation.
- Identify field challenges, assist with equipment calibration, and communicate findings to stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in land surveying, construction surveying, or a related discipline.
- Proficiency with total stations, GPS receivers, theodolites, and laser levels.
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
- Ability to collect, analyze, and interpret survey data accurately.
- Knowledge of surveying standards, protocols, and best practices.
- Technical report writing, documentation, organization, communication, and teamwork skills.
