Manages the planning, development, implementation, and continuous improvement of Manufacturing Engineering Sustaining activities to support product quality, manufacturability, reliability, cost effectiveness, and operational excellence. Leads a multidisciplinary team of engineers and technicians responsible for sustaining manufacturing processes, test systems, product support, engineering changes, yield improvement, and factory issue resolution. Ensures effective execution of sustaining programs while developing team capability and supporting organizational growth and strategic objectives.
Lead and manage the Manufacturing Engineering Sustaining team, including Shift Manufacturing Engineers and Test Technicians.
Lead the sustaining engineering strategies to support manufacturing operations, product quality, and factory performance.
Establish team priorities, resource planning, and execution plans to meet business objectives and customer commitments.
Own product lifecycle sustainment activities, including engineering change implementation, issue resolution, risk mitigation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Oversee manufacturing test strategy, test fixture design and validation, software maintenance, and production test readiness.
Monitor and improve key manufacturing metrics including First Pass Yield (FPY), cycle time, productivity, reliability, and cost of quality.

Lead root cause investigations and corrective actions for factory non-conformances, customer escalations, and field issues.

Lam offers a variety of work location models based on the needs of each role. Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories – On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. ‘On-site Flex’ you’ll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. ‘Virtual Flex’ you’ll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
