Description
First Focus is seeking a Support Technician for its Canberra team.
The role provides technical support across desktop, server, firewall, network, cloud, and Microsoft environments.
The position combines desk-based support with hands-on onsite client work.
What you will do
- Resolve tickets across Active Directory, Azure, Microsoft 365, and Exchange.
- Troubleshoot desktops, servers, firewalls, and networks.
- Support Azure AD, Entra, Hyper-V, Citrix, and AWS environments.
- Participate in project deployments.
- Work across desk-based support and onsite service work.
- Collaborate with senior engineers to maintain client environments.
- Travel to client sites, with fuel, tolls, and parking covered.
What you will bring
- Deep knowledge of Active Directory, including Azure and some on-premises experience.
- Solid understanding of Windows Server, Exchange, and cloud platforms.
- Comfort across desktops, firewalls, LAN, and WAN networks.
- Experience with ticketing systems and user-focused support.
- Strong communication skills and a problem-solving orientation.
- Valid Australian driver's license and own vehicle for onsite missions.
