Role Overview
The purpose of this position is to perform technical supply work.
It requires primarily knowledge of supply regulations, policies, procedures, and instructions to perform document control functions, demand processing, research and base level records maintenance, base level stock control functions, bench stock management, and to provide customer feedback.
Supply knowledge is paramount and therefore the position is assigned to the GS-2005 series.
NATIONAL GUARD MEMBERSHIP IS REQUIRED.
This is an excepted position that requires membership in a compatible military assignment in the Connecticut Air National Guard.
The major duties include, but are not limited to: Manages the unserviceable asset listing and awaits for disposition instructions from the Air Logistic Centers and Item Managers, etc.
Responsible for audit and control of all accountable supplies and equipment documentation.
Performs base level Records Maintenance functions.
Performs MICAP verification, report and process cannibalization actions for non-maintenance customers.
For non-maintenance customers; establishes, maintains and deletes bench stocks in coordination with supported activities.
