Responsibilities
- Effectively manage and control inbound supply by liaising closely with Supply Chain, Buying, Suppliers, Logistics and Merchandising
- Collaborate proactively with suppliers to optimise their production and distribution planning into RDCs
- Monitor supplier compliance against performance KPIs and engage regularly with forecast data
- Maintain consistent product availability throughout the year, with focus on peak periods
- Engage effectively with internal and external stakeholders at all levels
- Identify and drive continuous improvement opportunities
- Support the delivery of the departmental strategy and assist Buying teams
Requirements
- Experience in supply chain environments, ideally in planning or supplier management
- In depth knowledge of supply chain operations, including inbound, production, and distribution
- Skilled in stakeholder management and collaboration
- Commitment to continuous improvement through problem solving
- Exceptional and adaptable communicator
- Highly organised multitasker
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word

Overview
- Join Aldi’s dynamic Supply Planning team, collaborating with suppliers to ensure key products arrive on time and in full.
- The role is about owning relationships and driving supplier performance to maximise availability.
Your New Role
- Effectively manage and control inbound supply by liaising closely with Supply Chain, Buying, Suppliers, Logistics and Merchandising.

About You

What You’ll get in Return
- Salary starting from £37,545 rising to £43,840.
- 18 month FTC.
- Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:00pm, with opportunity of 2 days a week remote working.
- 5 weeks’ annual leave plus Bank Holidays.
