Role Overview
The Supply Planner manages finished-goods planning for an assigned business portfolio.
The role supports target service levels while managing inventory and cost objectives.
Responsibilities
- Determine replenishment needs from demand forecasts and execute purchases to plan.
- Define planning parameters, maintain system master data, and manage supply variability.
- Resolve supply exceptions through purchase-order expediting, inventory reallocation, and safety-stock planning.
- Coordinate with imports, warehouse, customer service, demand planning, and manufacturing teams.
- Monitor receipts and transfers to support timely delivery and product availability.
- Communicate supply risks, lead issue resolution, and maintain supply continuity.
- Conduct KPI root cause analysis and drive improvement plans.
- Drive OTIF, back-order, finished-goods inventory, and obsolescence metrics.
- Participate in S&OP and new product launches.
Qualifications
- MBA or bachelor's degree in supply chain, operations, or business.
- Three to five years of experience in supply chain operations.
- Experience in supply planning and inventory management.
- Proficiency in supply chain principles and a broad understanding of S&OP.
- Strong analytical, business, customer-focus, communication, and problem-solving capabilities.
