Role Description
- The Supply Chain Specialist is a full time, on site role based in Abu Dhabi, responsible for supporting the procurement, logistics, and supplier management activities of the business.
- The role ensures that products and services are sourced, delivered, and managed efficiently to support customer requirements.
- The position is also responsible for conducting bid studies, evaluating supplier proposals, expediting deliveries, monitoring order progress, and coordinating with suppliers and logistics providers to ensure the timely and cost effective fulfilment of business requirements.
Knowledge and Experience
- Minimum of 2–5 years' experience in procurement, supply chain, logistics, or a related role.
- Experience in sourcing products, supplier management, and procurement processes.
- Knowledge of logistics, and freight coordination.
- Experience conducting bid evaluations and preparing commercial comparisons.
- Familiarity with ERP systems and procurement software is desirable.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Understanding of supply chain best practices and commercial principles.
- Experience working within a defense, engineering, manufacturing, or industrial environment is desirable.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem solving skills.
