Skills and Experience
- Significant experience in supply planning, material planning, inventory management, or broader supply chain operations within a manufacturing environment.
- Experience working in global supply chain environments supporting multiple regions, with exposure to Asia-to-North America and/or EMEA supply networks preferred.
- Strong understanding of supply planning processes, demand planning, inventory optimization, production planning, logistics, and supplier management.
- Experience using ERP and Advanced Planning Systems such as Oracle R12, Oracle ASCP/APCC, or equivalent supply planning platforms.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, data analysis, business intelligence tools, and reporting platforms such as Power BI.
- Knowledge of materials planning systems, Master Production Scheduling (MPS), PFEP methodology, engineering change management, and materials KPI management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data, assess risks, and make informed business decisions.
- Experience conducting root cause analysis and implementing corrective and preventive actions to improve supply chain performance.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced global environment while balancing cost, service, and inventory objectives.
- Strong stakeholder management, supplier collaboration, communication, and cross-functional teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively across cultures and time zones.
- High level of ownership, customer focus, adaptability, and commitment to continuous improvement.
- Working Hours: This role supports global operations and requires working 12:30 PM to 9:30 PM IST to effectively collaborate with international stakeholders across multiple regions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Operations, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- An advanced degree or professional supply chain certification is considered an advantage.
- This position may require compliance with applicable export controls or sanctions regulations.
