The Supply Chain Planner will be responsible for optimising stock levels and turnover based on the information available to them. They will represent Optimas International in dealings with suppliers and subcontractors and develop win-win partnerships. Ensuring compliance with the conditions for receiving incoming products and anticipating any difficulties in order to meet the company's commitments are important aspects of this role. The Supply Chain Planner will be responsible for ensuring the reliability of the information entered into the ERP system, as well as actively participating in improving the service and organisation by making as many suggestions as possible in this area.
Main responsibilities
- Analyse customer needs in relation to available stock, prioritise and place orders accordingly
- Track and record supplier order acknowledgements in the ERP system
- Follow up with suppliers to ensure delivery times are met
- Organise supplier shipments/collections, set a schedule taking into account available resources
- Send carriers the documents required for customs clearance of imported goods
- Handle service non-conformities
- Report on activities in accordance with the organisation
- Handle other related administrative tasks (e.g. pre-receipt of goods, forwarding invoices to the accounts department, etc.)

Skills and Qualifications
- Fluent business English (spoken and written)
- Proficiency in basic stock management techniques
- Understanding of the specificities and requirements of industrial and automotive production supplies (customers and suppliers)
- Knowledge of the basics of transport regulations, customs and Incoterms
- Ability to analyse a situation and determine the actions to be taken
- Ability to anticipate, plan and prioritise actions
- ERP, procurement software
- Two to three years of higher education in purchasing/supply chain/logistics or similar
