Responsibilities
- Analyze historical data, market trends, and sales forecasts to develop accurate demand plans
- Maintain optimal inventory levels, preventing overstocking while ensuring sufficient materials for production
- Collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and products, negotiate contracts, and assess vendor performance
- Work with logistics providers to optimize transportation and distribution, ensuring efficient flow of goods
- Analyze data from various sources to identify areas for improvement and develop recommendations
- Identify and implement strategies to improve supply chain efficiency, reduce costs, and minimize disruptions
- Prepare reports on key performance indicators (KPIs), communicate with stakeholders, and present recommendations for improvement
- Work closely with various departments (operations, production, sales, etc.) to align plans and ensure smooth operations
Requirements
- Graduate + MBA/PG from a reputed institute
- Relevant Supply Chain Planning experience of 5+ years in Food & Beverage (F&B) industry
- Ice cream / Frozen Food industry experience preferred
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Proficiency in supply chain planning software and tools (e.g., ERP, WMS, APS)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
