Supply Chain Optimization Analyst (Contract)

Initial Performance Expectations

• Prepare two analyses using SAP or SAC inputs and provide business insights within two months.
• Use AI tools to support two data analysis or project goals while understanding and validating the output within two months.
• Lead one cross-functional problem-solving workstream and two supply-chain workstreams within three months.
• Lead at least one presentation of key findings to supply-chain or cross-functional leaders within three months.

Education and Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in supply chain, engineering, business, operations, analytics, or a related field, or equivalent education and experience.
• Two to five years of relevant experience in supply chain, manufacturing, operations, consulting, analytics, or continuous improvement.
• Experience with supply-chain or ERP data and analytical tools such as SAP and SAP Analytics Cloud.
• Experience in consumer packaged goods, food manufacturing, or another complex manufacturing environment is preferred.

Skills and Abilities

• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and SAP Analytics Cloud, including analysis of large and imperfect datasets.
• Proficiency using AI models with a critical lens to identify erroneous calculations or assumptions.
• Strong problem-solving, critical-thinking, interpersonal, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Understanding of inventory, demand, production planning, procurement, capacity, and bills of material.
• Ability to move independently between detailed analysis, cross-functional discussions, and hands-on operational problem solving.
