Role Description

  • This part time Supply Chain Manager role at Un jour, Une construction is a hybrid position based in Dubai, with a mix of on site work and work from home.
  • The Supply Chain Manager oversees end to end supply chain activities, including demand planning, procurement, inventory control, and supplier coordination to ensure materials are available on time and within budget.
  • Day to day responsibilities include analyzing demand forecasts, monitoring stock levels, placing and tracking purchase orders, and optimizing supply management processes to support ongoing construction projects.
  • The role also involves collaborating with project managers, finance, and logistics partners, reviewing supplier performance, addressing supply risks, and preparing regular reports on inventory, costs, and supply chain efficiency.
  • The Supply Chain Manager maintains compliance with company policies, supports continuous improvement initiatives, and contributes to the refinement of sourcing and planning strategies.

Qualifications

  • Strong demand planning and forecasting skills, with the ability to interpret data and anticipate material needs.
  • Proficiency in supply management and procurement, including vendor selection, negotiation, and purchase order administration.
  • Experience with inventory management, stock control, and optimization of reorder levels.
  • Advanced analytical skills, with the ability to use spreadsheets or ERP tools to analyze supply chain performance and costs.
  • Relevant experience in construction, engineering, or related industries is preferred.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities, with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with internal teams and external partners.
  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, business, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Comfort with hybrid work arrangements and the ability to manage tasks independently in a part time schedule.
