AMS Middle East FZE seeks a Supply Chain & Logistics Assistant Manager in Dubai to develop logistics plans, manage vendor relationships, oversee inventory, and lead a team. The role involves ensuring cost-effective logistics operations and compliance with customs regulations.

Responsibilities
- Support in developing and implementing Logistics plans in line with corporate Logistics strategy
- Handle operations related to logistics KPI, inventory, transport, Integration of information & customer requirements
- Assist in evaluating the performance of vendors and make recommendations for improvements
- Establish and maintain relationships with logistics service providers, assist in negotiating contracts and ensuring cost effectiveness
- Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure optimum inventory levels at all times
- Implement inventory control measures to minimize damages during storage, transportation and ensure accurate record keeping
- Oversee preparation and maintenance of shipping and customs documentation while ensuring compliance with international customs regulations for EXIM
- Maintain accurate records of shipments, tracking information, and other relevant logistics data
- Identify potential risks in the supply chain and develop strategies to mitigate them
- Supervise and lead a team of logistics professionals, providing guidance by conducting regular training sessions
- Implement best practices to enhance the overall efficiency of the logistics operations
- Responsible for multiple customer accounts including management and improvement of services provided to distributors / customers
