Role Description
The Supply Chain Director is a full-time, on-site role based in Jiddah, responsible for overseeing end-to-end supply chain activities that support non-profit programs and operations.
This role includes leading production planning for program-related materials, managing procurement processes, and optimizing supply chain operations to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods and services.
The Supply Chain Director will develop and implement supply chain strategies, monitor performance metrics, and maintain relationships with vendors and partners.
Day-to-day tasks involve analyzing demand forecasts, coordinating with internal teams, ensuring compliance with organizational policies, and continuously improving supply chain efficiency to align with mission-driven goals.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Supply Chain Management and Supply Chain Operations skills to oversee and optimize end-to-end logistics.
- Candidates should possess Production Planning skills to coordinate and schedule materials and resources for programs and events.
- Candidates should possess Procurement skills to manage sourcing, vendor selection, contract negotiation, and purchasing processes.
- Candidates should possess Analytical Skills to interpret data, develop forecasts, manage budgets, and drive process improvements.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., APICS, CPSM) is an advantage.
- Experience in supply chain leadership, preferably within non-profit, public sector, or mission-driven organizations.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and team leadership abilities, with a collaborative and inclusive working style.
- Proficiency with supply chain planning tools, ERP systems, and standard office software.
- Ability to work on-site in Jiddah and adapt to a dynamic, impact-focused environment.
