Role description
The Supply Chain Analyst supports data-driven decision-making and supply chain performance improvement.
The role analyzes supply, demand, inventory, procurement, logistics, and operational data to identify trends, risks, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities.
The position works with supply chain, procurement, logistics, operations, finance, sales, and other stakeholders.
Core responsibilities
- Collect and analyze operational and supply chain data.
- Prepare reports, dashboards, and performance analyses.
- Monitor key performance indicators and validate data.
- Support demand forecasting, inventory analysis, and supply planning.
- Perform cost analysis and identify process and resource optimization opportunities.
- Translate complex data into practical business insights.
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in supply chain management, logistics, business analytics, operations management, finance, economics, or a related discipline.
- Strong understanding of procurement, demand planning, inventory management, logistics, and distribution.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
- Ability to develop reports, dashboards, and performance analyses.
- Knowledge of demand forecasting, inventory analysis, supply planning, and supply chain performance metrics.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, data analysis, and reporting functions.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain accuracy with time-sensitive data.
Preferred technical skills
- Familiarity with ERP systems, supply chain management platforms, and business intelligence tools is an advantage.
- Basic knowledge of SQL or data visualization tools such as Power BI is a plus.
