Supplier/Vendor QA Engineer (Elastomer and Thermal Interface Material)

Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Polymer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Optics, Physics, Chemistry, or related field with 8+ years of experience; or a Master degree holder/ PhD with 5+ years’ experience; or equivalent experience.

Exceptional analytical and experimental design skills.

Experience with failure analysis using a diverse toolset of materials characterization techniques (microscopy, thermal and mechanical analysis, spectroscopy, etc.

Experience specific to Elastomer or Thermal Interface Material will be an added advantage.

Demonstrated creative thinking, problem solving, troubleshooting capabilities, and resiliency.

Exceptional English communication and presentation skills.

Comfortable traveling up to 25% of the time.

Lam offers a variety of work location models based on the needs of each role. Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories – On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. ‘On-site Flex’ you’ll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. ‘Virtual Flex’ you’ll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
