Responsibilities
- Conduct market intelligence and supplier research to assess market conditions, pricing trends, and cost structures
- Coordinate and maintain Supplier Relations Management (SRM) procedures and databases
- Develop and update analytical tools, templates and reports for market and commodity visibility
- Conduct and present market research findings and performance insights to supply teams and management
- Develop and maintain relationships with key internal customers/stakeholders to understand emerging needs
- Assist in identifying high value procurement categories and perform focused research to support negotiations
- Prepare market reports and presentations with detailed analysis for Supply Leadership Team reviews
- Coordinate and support supplier performance review, ensuring alignment with KPIs and contractual requirements
- Monitor and report key market trends, geopolitical developments, and technological shifts
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business discipline, economics, industrial engineering, or science
- 8 years' experience in supply chain, procurement, or supplier relationship management with a focus on market research or analytics within oil and gas industry
- Experience in supplier performance monitoring, market intelligence systems and data driven decision making
- Knowledgeable of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and how they are used to enhance supplier relations and performance

Job Purpose
- Conduct market intelligence and supplier research activity to assess market conditions, pricing trends, and cost structures to support sourcing and supplier performance decisions.
- Coordinate and maintain Supplier Relations Management (SRM) procedures and databases to ensure supplier value optimization and compliance with QatarEnergy LNG’s procurement governance framework.
Key Job Accountabilities I
- Determine, develop, and implement a market intelligence framework to maximize competitive advantage.
- Collect, analyze and maintain market intelligence data on supply trends, cost structures and commodity movements.
- Develop a structured approach to obtaining market research to analyse market trends.
- Support and maintain the supplier relationship management framework by monitoring supplier performance indicators, feedback and audit results.
- Develop and update analytical tools, templates and reports needed to provide visibility of respective markets and commodities.
- Conduct and present market research findings and performance insights to supply teams and management.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key internal customers/stakeholders.
- Recommend and support initiatives to enhance supplier relations, streamline SRM processes and ensure compliance.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business discipline, economics, industrial engineering, or science.
Knowledge and/or Experience I
- 8 years’ experience in supply chain, procurement, or supplier relationship management with a focus on market research or analytics within oil and gas industry.
- Experience in supplier performance monitoring, market intelligence systems and data driven decision making.
- Knowledgeable of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and how they are used to enhance supplier relations and performance.
