Supplier Quality Technician

Job Summary

Essential duties and responsibilities

• Performs receiving inspection on incoming materials and components.
• Retains and archives supplier material certificates, certificates of conformance, inspection data, etc. in accordance with applicable procedures.
• Monitors and updates inspections plans in the ERP system based on engineering changes or supplier performance.
• Identifies, segregates, and dispositions nonconforming materials received from suppliers.
• Supports the Supplier Quality Engineer with: Determining supplier at fault issues identified in production Gathering, reviewing, and retaining supplier PPAP deliverables Communicating with suppliers in relation to nonconformance investigations and returns Collecting supplier performance data for monitoring purposes Reviewing part specifications to define, create and set up inspection plans
