As a Supplier Quality & Development Engineer, you will be responsible for assessing, developing, and managing supplier quality performance to ensure full compliance with nuclear quality standards and customer requirements.
You will lead supplier audits and assessments, review quality documentation, support supplier development activities, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Working collaboratively with both internal stakeholders and external partners, you will help resolve quality concerns, improve supplier capability, and ensure ongoing compliance with industry regulations and quality management systems.
Leading supplier audits and assessments against CSA N299 and ASME NQA‑1 requirements
Evaluating and monitoring supplier quality management systems to ensure ongoing compliance
Reviewing and approving supplier quality plans, procedures, and documentation
Driving supplier development initiatives to improve capability, quality performance, and reliability
Supporting corrective and preventive actions through structured root cause analysis methodologies
Validating manufacturing and inspection processes, including PPAP and FAI activities
Maintaining robust audit records, supplier traceability, and documentation integrity
Supporting internal, customer, and regulatory audits as required
Collaborating with Procurement, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Regulatory teams to address quality challenges and drive continuous improvement
Proven experience in Quality Engineering, Supplier Quality, Quality Assurance, or Auditing roles
Strong understanding of supplier quality assurance processes and supplier performance management
