Supervisor, Tissue Services - Night Shift

In addition to the level I and level II education and/or experience, a CTBS certification is required. Desired knowledge, skills, and abilities include:

Ability to respond effectively to common inquiries or complaints from customers, staff, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.

General understanding of disease processes.

Extensive knowledge of medical terminology.

Extensive knowledge of anatomy and physiology and ability to recognize anatomical variations.

Ability to interpret lab values, Chest X-rays and CT results to recognize abnormalities.

Ability to read and follow checklists, procedures and provide direction to other staff.

Ability to effectively communicate and interact with nurses, physicians, hospital/transplant professionals, funeral directors, Coroners, and Indiana Donor Network employees.

Ability to remain calm in stressful situations.

Skill in handling multiple tasks simultaneously.
