Position Overview

Stewarding and Kitchen Support

• Direct and assist stewards with cleanup activities.
• Ensure appropriate cleaning water temperatures and chemical levels and document them.
• Assist with banquet plate-ups and kitchen tasks, provide cooks with needed items, and maintain banquet and buffet stock.
• Return cleaned items to proper locations.
• Operate and maintain dishwashing, hand-wash, pot-scrubbing, and trash-compactor equipment.

Employee and Safety Support

• Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, motivating, and coaching employees.
• Follow company, safety, and security policies and report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions.
• Complete safety training and certifications.
• Maintain a clean and professional appearance and protect confidential information and company assets.

Guest and Team Service

• Welcome and acknowledge guests, anticipate service needs, and address guest requests.
• Use clear and professional language when communicating with others.
• Develop positive working relationships and support the team in reaching common goals.
• Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards.
• Perform other reasonable job duties requested by supervisors.

Preferred Qualifications

• A high school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
• At least two years of related work experience is preferred.
• At least one year of supervisory experience is preferred.
• No license or certification is required.

Physical Requirements

• Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance.
• Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods and reach overhead and below the knees.
• Work across sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
