This position serves as a team lead and provides day-to-day guidance and coordination for a small group of Engineers/Developers engaged in designing, developing and/or modifying end-user, system level, and data management software applications to achieve established project objectives. Lead and participate in the implementation of design including coding, testing, and documentation to meet defined schedules and quality requirements.
Support deployment of applications across the enterprise including cross-platform compliance and coordinating availability of necessary resources with other groups.
Perform and oversee code maintenance activities including debugging and updating to keep pace with the evolving environment and user needs.
Provide input to plans for future applications based on new developments in computer technology and observations from current work.
Communicate routinely with the software developer group, with users, and with management as appropriate to report status, issues, and risks for assigned work.
Provide daily direction and guidance to assigned staff, including task assignment, monitoring progress, and helping resolve technical issues.
Assist in training and mentoring team members, sharing best practices and supporting skill development.
Maintain the strict confidentiality of sensitive information.
Performs other duties as assigned or required.
