Position Summary

Reservations Responsibilities

• Process reservation requests, changes, and cancellations received by phone, fax, or mail.
• Identify guest needs, determine appropriate room types, verify availability and rates, and explain reservation policies.
• Accommodate and document special requests and respond to challenges involving rooming requests.
• Input and access data in the reservation system.
• Set up proper billing accounts according to accounting policies.
• Use sales techniques to maximize revenue.

Team and Guest Service

• Communicate company values and culture to new employees.
• Assist management with training, scheduling, counseling, motivating, and coaching employees.
• Troubleshoot, resolve, document, or escalate guest issues and concerns.
• Welcome guests, anticipate service needs, and communicate using clear and professional language.
• Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards.
