Position Summary
The Reservations Supervisor oversees reservation accuracy, guest booking activity, procedures, and support for revenue maximization.
The position is full time, non-management, and located at the Ritz-Carlton property on Ras Abu Abboud Street in Doha, Qatar.
Reservations Operations
- Oversee room blocks, reservations, and group market codes.
- Process reservation requests, changes, and cancellations by phone, fax, or mail.
- Determine room types, verify availability and rates, and explain reservation policies.
- Document special requests and answer questions about property facilities, services, and accommodations.
- Input and access data in the reservation system.
- Set up billing accounts according to accounting policies.
Guest Service and Revenue
- Use sales techniques to maximize revenue.
- Troubleshoot, resolve, document, and escalate guest issues and concerns.
- Welcome and acknowledge guests, anticipate service needs, and provide professional assistance.
- Communicate clearly, prepare accurate written documents, and answer telephones using appropriate etiquette.
