Job Details
Job category: Reservations.
Schedule: Full time.
Position type: Non-management.
The role is not remote and is based at the Doha hotel location.
Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate blocked-room lists, reservations, and market pricing.
- Process reservation requests, changes, and cancellations by phone, fax, or email.
- Determine suitable room types and rates based on guest needs and availability.
- Explain guarantee, special pricing, and cancellation policies.
- Document special requests and answer questions about hotel facilities, services, and rooms.
- Apply sales techniques to maximize revenue and use the reservation system.
- Resolve guest issues or refer them to the appropriate personnel.
- Assist management with training, scheduling, evaluation, coaching, motivation, and employee support.
- Follow company policies, confidentiality requirements, quality standards, and professional appearance standards.
- Welcome guests, anticipate their needs, communicate courteously, and maintain positive workplace relationships.
- Read and verify information in different formats and independently move loads up to 4.5 kilograms.
- Perform other duties requested by managers that correspond to the position.
Recommended Qualifications
- Secondary school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 2 years of related work experience.
- At least 1 year of supervisory experience.
- No permit or certification is required.
