Position Summary

Oversee the accuracy of room blocks, reservations, and group market codes.

Support reservations operations, guest service, revenue maximization, billing setup, and issue resolution.

Responsibilities

  • Review and implement reservations procedures.
  • Process reservation requests, changes, and cancellations by phone, fax, or mail.
  • Identify guest needs, determine room types, and verify availability and rates.
  • Explain guarantee, special rate, and cancellation policies.
  • Document special requests and answer questions about facilities and accommodations.
  • Use sales techniques to maximize revenue and maintain data in the reservation system.
  • Troubleshoot, resolve, document, or escalate guest issues.
  • Assist with employee training, scheduling, counseling, motivation, and coaching.
  • Follow company policies, protect confidential information and assets, and meet quality standards.
  • Welcome guests, address service needs, communicate professionally, and perform reasonable duties as requested.

Preferred Qualifications

  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent is preferred.
  • At least 2 years of related work experience is preferred.
  • At least 1 year of supervisory experience is preferred.
  • No license or certification is specified.
