Position Information

The position is Reservations Supervisor in the Reservations job category.

The schedule is full time, the position type is non-management, and the role is not located remotely.

The job is located at a Ritz-Carlton property on Ras Abu Abboud Street in Doha, Qatar.

Reservations Operations

  • Verify group blocks, room reservations, and market codes.
  • Process reservations, requests, changes, and cancellations received by phone, fax, or email.
  • Determine suitable room types, verify availability and rates, and explain guarantee and cancellation policies.
  • Handle special requests and answer questions about hotel facilities, services, and rooms.
  • Use sales techniques to maximize revenue and maintain reservation system data.
  • Resolve, document, or escalate guest reservation issues.

Team Support and Standards

  • Assist management with training, scheduling, coaching, discipline, motivation, and employee development.
  • Follow company policies, quality assurance standards, confidentiality requirements, and property protection procedures.
  • Recognize guests, anticipate service needs, communicate professionally, and maintain positive working relationships.
  • Maintain a neat and professional uniform and personal appearance.
  • Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing 10 pounds or less without assistance.

Desirable Qualifications

  • A secondary school diploma or GED is desirable.
  • At least 2 years of related work experience is desirable.
  • At least 1 year of supervisory experience is desirable.
  • No license or certification is required.
