Position Summary

Reservations Operations

• Oversee room blocks, reservations, and group market codes.
• Process reservation requests, changes, and cancellations by phone, fax, or mail.
• Determine room types, verify availability and rates, and explain reservation policies.
• Document special requests and answer questions about property facilities, services, and accommodations.
• Input and access data in the reservation system.
• Set up billing accounts according to accounting policies.

Guest Service and Revenue

• Use sales techniques to maximize revenue.
• Troubleshoot, resolve, document, and escalate guest issues and concerns.
• Welcome and acknowledge guests, anticipate service needs, and provide professional assistance.
• Communicate clearly, prepare accurate written documents, and answer telephones using appropriate etiquette.

Team Support and Compliance

• Assist management with training, scheduling, counseling, motivating, and coaching employees.
• Serve as a role model and first point of contact for the Guarantee of Fair Treatment and Open Door Policy process.
• Follow company policies, maintain confidentiality, protect company assets, and meet quality assurance standards.
• Maintain a clean and professional uniform and personal appearance and perform other reasonable duties as requested.

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent is listed as a preferred qualification.
• At least 2 years of related work experience is listed as a preferred qualification.
• At least 1 year of supervisory experience is listed as a preferred qualification.
• No license or certification is specified.

Schedule and Workplace

• The schedule is full time.
