Position Summary

Reservations Supervisor responsible for room blocks, reservations, group market codes, reservation procedures, guest requests, billing setup, and issue resolution.

The position is classified as non-management and supports employee training, scheduling, counseling, motivation, and coaching.

Core Responsibilities

  • Oversee room blocks, reservations, and group market code accuracy.
  • Process reservation requests, changes, and cancellations by phone, fax, or mail.
  • Determine room types, verify availability and rates, and explain guarantee, special rate, and cancellation policies.
  • Document special requests and answer questions about property facilities, services, and accommodations.
  • Use reservation systems, apply sales techniques, and set up billing accounts according to accounting policies.
  • Resolve or escalate guest challenges and maintain accurate documentation.
  • Assist with training, scheduling, counseling, motivating, and coaching employees.
  • Provide professional guest service, maintain confidentiality, follow company policies, and meet quality assurance standards.

Preferred Qualifications

  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
  • At least 2 years of related work experience.
  • At least 1 year of supervisory experience.
  • No license or certification is specified.

Schedule

  • The schedule is full time.

Workplace

  • The role is not remote and is located at Ras Abu Abboud Street, Doha, Qatar.
