Job Overview

  • Assist in controlling and monitoring employee relations issues, including resolution and follow up.
  • Assist and support management and leadership team in handling and resolving HR problems.
  • Ensure all hiring and recruitment processes comply with local, state, and federal laws and company policies.

Responsibilities

  • Report employee relations issues to HR management.
  • Respond to employee and management questions regarding company HR programs, policies, and guidelines.
  • Disseminate information related to employer employee relations, employee activities, and personnel policies.
  • Review and ensure accurate maintenance of all employee records and files (e.g., interview documents, I 9 forms).
  • Assist in logistics, administration, and organization of annual employee surveys.
  • Answer phone calls and record messages.
  • Assist management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, motivating, and coaching employees.
  • Comply with all company safety and security policies and report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions.
  • Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information.
  • Greet and acknowledge guests according to company standards.
  • Speak with others using clear and professional language; answer phones using appropriate protocol.
  • Maintain positive working relationships; support team to reach common goals; listen and respond appropriately to concerns.

Desired Qualifications

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Related work experience: At least 1 year.
  • Supervisory experience: At least 1 year.
  • License or certification: None.
