Core Responsibilities

• Inspect guest rooms, public areas, and the pool after cleaning to verify quality standards.
• Run sold-room reports, verify room status, identify discrepant rooms, prioritize cleaning, and update departing-room status.
• Coordinate housekeeping, engineering, front office, and laundry efforts and resolve room-status issues with the front desk.
• Prepare and communicate room-assignment changes, report issues to the next shift, and complete paperwork.
• Assist with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluation, counseling, discipline, motivation, and coaching of employees.

Service and Operational Standards

• Follow company, safety, and security procedures and report maintenance issues, hazards, accidents, and injuries.
• Welcome guests, anticipate service needs, assist individuals with disabilities, and communicate clearly and professionally.
• Maintain positive working relationships, listen to employee concerns, and ensure adherence to quality standards.
• Use computers or point-of-sale systems and perform duties involving prolonged standing, walking, bending, reaching, stairs, and uneven surfaces.
• Move, lift, carry, and place objects up to 25 kilograms without assistance and heavier objects with assistance.

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• At least one year of related work experience is preferred.
• At least one year of supervisory experience is preferred.
• No license or certification is specified.
