Position Summary

Inspect guest rooms, public areas, and pool areas after cleaning to ensure quality standards.

Coordinate housekeeping activities with Engineering, Front Office, Laundry, and the Front Desk.

Core Responsibilities

  • Run sold-room reports, verify room status, identify discrepant rooms, prioritize cleaning, and update departing-room status.
  • Prepare, distribute, and communicate changes in room assignments and issues to the next shift.
  • Complete required paperwork and assist management with daily housekeeping activities.
  • Assist with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, motivating, and coaching employees.

Workplace and Physical Requirements

  • The position is full time and not remote.
  • Move, lift, carry, and place objects weighing up to 55 pounds without assistance and heavier objects with assistance.
  • Push and pull loaded housekeeping carts over sloping and uneven surfaces and perform bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
  • Stand, sit, kneel, or walk for extended periods and use fine motor skills throughout the work shift.

Preferred Qualifications

  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent is preferred.
  • At least 1 year of related work experience is required.
  • At least 1 year of supervisory experience is required.
  • No license or certification is required.

Maintain professional appearance, confidentiality, company assets, quality standards, and positive working relationships.
