Position Overview

Housekeeping Operations

• Inspect guest rooms, public areas, and pool areas after cleaning.
• Run sold-room reports, verify room status, identify discrepancies, prioritize cleaning, and update departing-room status.
• Coordinate Housekeeping with Engineering, Front Office, and Laundry.
• Prepare and communicate room-assignment changes, resolve discrepancies with the Front Desk, and communicate issues to the next shift.
• Complete required paperwork and perform other reasonable duties requested by supervisors.

People and Guest Service

• Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluation, counseling, discipline, motivation, and coaching of employees.
• Welcome and acknowledge guests, anticipate service needs, assist individuals with disabilities, and respond to concerns.
• Communicate clearly and professionally and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues.

Preferred Qualifications

• A high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent is preferred.
• At least 1 year of related work experience is preferred.
• At least 1 year of supervisory experience is preferred.
• No license or certification is required.

Physical and Technical Requirements

• Lift and carry up to 55 pounds without assistance and heavier objects with assistance.
• Push and pull loaded housekeeping carts and machinery over sloping and uneven surfaces.
• Stand, sit, kneel, or walk for extended periods during the work shift.
• Use computers or point-of-sale systems and read information in varied formats.
• Perform frequent reaching, bending, twisting, pulling, stooping, and fine-motor tasks.

Workplace

• The role is based at the Central Area District north of Al Masjid Al Nabawi in Madinah, Saudi Arabia.
• The position is not remote and requires physical activity across the hotel work environment.
