Position details

Core responsibilities

• Inspect guest rooms, public areas, and the pool after housekeeping service to ensure quality standards.
• Prepare room-availability reports, verify room status, identify discrepancies, and prioritize room cleaning.
• Coordinate housekeeping with engineering, front office, and laundry, and resolve room discrepancies with the front desk.
• Prepare and communicate changes to assignment sheets or schedules, hand over unresolved issues, and complete administrative work.
• Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluation, coaching, discipline, motivation, and employee development.

Recommended qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent is recommended.
• At least one year of related work experience is recommended.
• At least one year of supervisory experience is recommended.
• No license or certification is specified in the source qualifications.

Work conditions

• The role requires frequent standing, walking, sitting, kneeling, stair and ramp use, and movement across uneven or slippery surfaces.
• The role requires lifting up to 55 pounds independently and heavier objects with assistance, as well as pushing and pulling loaded housekeeping carts.
• The role requires clear courteous communication, computer or point-of-sale system use, visual inspection, and manual dexterity.
