Position details
Housekeeping Supervisor role in the Housekeeping and Laundry department at Palm Jumeirah, Dubai.
The position is full time, non-management, and not remotely located.
Core responsibilities
- Inspect guest rooms, public areas, and the pool after cleaning to ensure quality standards.
- Prepare room-availability reports, verify room status, identify discrepancies, and prioritize cleaning.
- Coordinate housekeeping with engineering, front office, and laundry, and resolve room discrepancies with the front desk.
- Prepare and communicate assignment-sheet or work-board changes, hand over unresolved issues, and complete paperwork.
- Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluation, coaching, discipline, motivation, and employee development.
Recommended qualifications
- A high school diploma or GED is desirable.
- At least one year of related work experience is desirable.
- At least one year of supervisory experience is desirable.
- No license or certification is specified in the source qualifications.
Work conditions
- The role requires frequent standing, walking, sitting, kneeling, stair and ramp use, and movement across uneven or slippery surfaces.
