- Ensure rates match market standards and document all exceptions
- Obtain payment before issuing room keys and verify or adjust billing
- Collect and review daily reports, records, and incident lists
- Complete cashier reports and closing reports
- Provide directions and information to guests about destinations and hotel services
- Respond to guest requests by contacting appropriate staff if necessary
- Follow up to ensure requests have been fulfilled
- Process all payment methods, vouchers, disbursements, and expenses
- Balance and deliver receipts; compute and secure cash at start and end of shift
