Assess guests' fitness levels and exercise programs, develop personalized programs, and provide fitness counseling.
Provide fitness equipment guidance, coordinate recreation activities, and maintain a safe and welcoming recreation environment.
Work arrangement
- The position is full time.
- The position is not remote and is located at The Pearl Island, Doha, Qatar.
- The position is classified as non-management.
Key responsibilities
- Assess exercise programs and fitness levels to develop personalized exercise programs.
- Provide fitness counseling and safe-use advice for fitness equipment.
- Register and schedule guests for recreation activities.
- Contact maintenance or external service providers for machine repairs.
- Maintain cups and water supplies in the recreation area.
- Promote a fun, relaxing, safe, and rules-compliant facility.
- Assist management with employee hiring, training, scheduling, evaluation, counseling, discipline, motivation, and coaching.
- Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions and complete safety training.
- Welcome guests, address service needs, and assist individuals with disabilities.
- Process payments for rentals, activities, facility rentals, or retail sales.
- Maintain quality standards and implement quality improvements.
- Use computers or point-of-sale systems and perform the physical duties required during shifts.
Qualifications
- CPR certification is required.
- First Aid certification is required.
- Fitness equipment certification or training is required.
- Any certification or training required by local and state agencies is required.
- A high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent is preferred.
- Less than one year of related work experience is preferred.
- No supervisory experience is preferred.
