About the Role
The Supervisor Entertainment & Events Props is responsible for the hands-on maintenance, repair, and operational readiness of all show props, show vehicles, and associated techn.

Responsibilities
- Maintain, repair, and refurbish all hand props, scenic elements, and show set pieces
- Oversee maintenance of electric show vehicles including tires, brakes, batteries, and safety features
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on show vehicles
- Maintain and troubleshoot show playback systems and embedded devices
- Operate as workshop lead, maintaining tools and equipment
- Support fabrication and modification of props and show elements
- Attend rehearsals and live performances to identify wear and damage risks
- Provide on the spot troubleshooting and emergency repairs during operations
- Coordinate prop preparation, installation, removal, and storage for events
Requirements
- Hands on experience in maintenance and repair of show props, scenic elements, and show vehicles
- Proficiency in fiberglass repairs, carpentry, painting, and basic fabrication
- Experience with electric vehicle maintenance including batteries and charging systems
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair playback systems (iPads, Tascam, audio connections)
- Strong problem solving skills and ability to lead a workshop team

Job Overview
- Responsible for hands on maintenance, repair, and operational readiness of all show props, show vehicles, and associated technical elements.
- Requires a highly skilled all rounder who can diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of assets.
- Will lead by example as a roll up your sleeves problem solver.
Key Functional Tasks
- Maintain, repair, and refurbish all hand props, scenic elements, and show set pieces.
- Carry out practical repairs including gluing, bonding, fiberglass repairs, painting, and basic carpentry.
- Oversee maintenance of electric show vehicles including tires, brakes, steering, battery systems, and charging infrastructure.
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on show vehicles.
- Maintain and troubleshoot show playback systems including iPads, Tascam devices, and audio connections.
- Operate as practical workshop lead, maintaining tools, equipment, and workspace.
- Support fabrication and modification of props and show elements.
- Attend rehearsals, technical run throughs, and live performances to observe prop usage.
- Identify potential wear, damage risks, or handling issues and implement solutions.
- Provide on the spot troubleshooting and emergency repairs during rehearsals and live operations.
- Coordinate prop preparation, installation, removal, and storage for shows and special events.
- Ensure all props are maintained to required artistic, operational, and safety standards.
