Position Information

Engineering and Maintenance Duties

• Install, maintain, and perform preventive maintenance on tools, appliances, and equipment.
• Calibrate controls, gauges, and meters and identify and operate shut-off valves.
• Order, mark, and stock parts and supplies and maintain inventory and purchase-order logs.
• Inspect tools, equipment, and machines and enter work-related information using computers.
• Operate a power lift and complete the life-safety checklist, including fire-pump and generator run tests.
• Inspect fire sprinkler valves and alarm systems and assist with disaster response protocols.
• Respond to guest repair requests.

Supervision and Service Duties

• Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, motivating, and coaching employees.
• Welcome guests, anticipate and address service needs, and assist individuals with disabilities.
• Develop positive working relationships and support the team in reaching common goals.
• Identify, recommend, develop, and implement ways to improve efficiency, productivity, quality, safety, and cost savings.

Preferred Qualifications

• Technical, trade, or vocational school degree preferred.
• At least 2 years of related work experience preferred.
• At least 2 years of supervisory experience preferred.
• No license or certification is specified.

Work Conditions and Safety

• The role requires following safety and security policies, reporting hazards and incidents, and completing safety training and certifications.
• The role requires reaching overhead and below the knees, bending, twisting, pulling, stooping, and moving up and down stairs or service ramps.
• The role requires moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance.
• The role requires standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods and visually inspecting equipment.
