Position information

Job category: Engineering and Facilities.

The position is full time, non-management, and located at the Central Area District north of Al Masjid Al Nabawi in Madinah, Saudi Arabia.

Engineering and maintenance

  • Install, maintain, and perform preventive maintenance on tools, appliances, equipment, and facility systems.
  • Calibrate controls, gauges, and meters, operate shut-off valves, and inspect tools, equipment, and machines.
  • Order and stock parts and supplies while maintaining inventory and purchase order logs.
  • Operate a power lift and respond to guest repair requests.
  • Complete life-safety checks, including fire-pump and generator run tests, and inspect sprinkler valves and alarm systems.
  • Assist in developing disaster response protocols.

Team and service support

  • Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, motivating, and coaching employees.
  • Follow safety and security policies, report hazards and maintenance issues, and complete required safety training.
  • Maintain professional standards, protect confidential information, welcome guests, and address service needs.
  • Support team goals and implement improvements in efficiency, productivity, quality, safety, and cost savings.

Preferred qualifications

  • Technical, trade, or vocational school degree.
  • At least two years of related work experience.
  • At least two years of supervisory experience.
  • No license or certification is listed.

Physical requirements

  • The role includes standing, sitting, walking, climbing stairs or service ramps, and moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
