Position Summary

Maintenance and Facilities Duties

• Install, maintain, inspect, and recommend replacement of tools, appliances, equipment, and machines.
• Calibrate controls, gauges, and meters and operate shut-off valves.
• Order, mark, and stock parts and supplies and maintain inventory and purchase order logs.
• Enter work-related information using computers and operate power lifts.

Life Safety and Guest Service

• Complete life-safety checklists, including fire-pump and generator run tests.
• Inspect fire sprinkler valves and alarm systems and assist with disaster response protocols.
• Respond to guest repair requests and address service needs.

Team and Operational Support

• Assist with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, motivating, and coaching employees.
• Follow company, safety, and security policies and report maintenance problems, hazards, accidents, and injuries.
• Identify and implement improvements to efficiency, productivity, quality, safety, and cost savings.

Preferred Qualifications

• Technical, trade, or vocational school degree is preferred.
• At least 2 years of related work experience is preferred.
• At least 2 years of supervisory experience is preferred.
• No license or certification is specified.

Schedule and Workplace

• The schedule is full time.
• The role is not remote and involves physical hotel facilities work.
