Position Summary
Maintain hotel tools, appliances, equipment, and facilities systems through installation, inspection, calibration, repair, and preventive maintenance.
Respond to guest repair requests and support safe, efficient hotel operations.
Technical Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, inspect, and recommend replacement of tools, appliances, equipment, and machines.
- Calibrate controls, gauges, and meters and operate identified shut-off valves.
- Order, mark, and stock parts and supplies and maintain inventory and purchase-order logs.
- Complete fire-pump and generator run tests and inspect sprinkler valves and alarm systems.
- Assist with disaster response protocols and enter work-related information using computers.
- Operate a power lift and perform physical inspections and maintenance activities.
Supervision and Service
- Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, motivating, and coaching employees.
- Respond to guest repair requests and provide service consistent with company standards.
- Maintain positive working relationships and support team goals.
- Identify and implement improvements to efficiency, productivity, quality, safety, and cost savings.
