The Ministry of Social Services, Community Living Service Delivery, is seeking a highly-motivated, task oriented, creative and flexible individual for a Supervisor opportunity in the North Service Area, North Battleford office.
As part of the Community Services Unit, you will be capable of balancing the demands of directing and managing staff, supervision of case management (including assessment, individual program planning, counselling of individuals and/or families, referral and follow-up to residential/day program/other service systems and crisis intervention), program development and implementation (including consultation with community-based organizations, approved private service homes and the community at large), budget management and resource allocation. These objectives will be achieved by applying appropriate and ethical social work methods in the implementation of divisional programs in the region, with the primary goal being to support and empower the community to assist individuals with intellectual disabilities to live more independently and participate more fully in communities.
The knowledge and skills for this position will have been gained and demonstrated through the completion of a Bachelor of Social Work or a Bachelor of Indigenous Social Work and related experience. A valid driver's license is required as travel is necessary.
