Mission
Manage the technical operations, maintenance coordination, procurement, and supply chain activities of a fleet of workboats.
Ensure vessel availability, safety and regulatory compliance, cost-effective purchasing, and optimized fleet operations.
Technical Management
- Oversee daily technical operations of assigned vessels for safe, reliable, and compliant performance.
- Plan and coordinate routine and preventive maintenance with vessel crews and shore teams.
- Conduct vessel inspections and report on vessel condition, performance, and maintenance needs.
- Supervise dry-dockings, repairs, and modifications and prepare technical specifications and budgets.
- Liaise with classification societies, flag authorities, and port-state inspectors.
Procurement and Supply Chain
- Source, evaluate, and purchase technical spares, lubricants, stores, and services.
- Negotiate supplier contracts, price agreements, and delivery terms.
- Maintain supplier databases focused on quality and cost efficiency.
- Monitor inventory, control logistics, and optimize supply chain operations for vessels in the UAE, GCC, and international locations.
- Review and approve purchase orders in line with budgets and company procedures.
