Due to an internal promotion, an exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Superintendent People to join our team. You will lead the delivery of practical, operationally focused people solutions that support our workforce and leaders across our operations.
Reporting to the Manager People, you will provide strategic and operational HR leadership across Westgold's mining operations. Working closely with site leadership teams, you will partner with leaders to deliver proactive people solutions, manage complex employee relations matters and drive initiatives that support organisational performance.
This role offers the opportunity to influence leaders, lead a team of HR professionals and contribute to workforce strategies that support a growing business.

To succeed in this role, you will bring:
Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Employee Relations, Organisational Development, Business or a related discipline.
A minimum of five years' experience in a senior operational HR role, ideally within mining, resources or heavy industry.
Strong employee and industrial relations expertise with a sound understanding of employment legislation.
Proven ability to coach, influence and build credibility with leaders at all levels.
Exceptional communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
Demonstrated experience leading and developing high-performing teams.
Strong planning, organisational and problem-solving capabilities.
Advanced Microsoft Office skills, including Excel, Word, SharePoint and PowerPoint.
Current C Class Driver's Licence.
Previous experience within the mining or resources sector.
Experience leading HR teams within an operational environment.
Exposure to Fair Work Commission matters, including preparation, conciliation and resolution.
Work across a diverse portfolio of successful mining operations.
